# What events are covered by Refund Guard?

Refund Guard covers the following circumstances, provided valid documentation is submitted:

* **Medical Emergencies**: Sudden illness or injury requiring hospitalisation or rest, certified by a medical professional.
* **Bereavement**: Sudden passing of an immediate family member.
* **Legal Obligations**: Summons to court or jury duty.
* **Unexpected Work Commitments**: Urgent business trips or employment-related obligations requiring a change in travel plans, certified by the employer.
* **Flight-Related Issues**: Sudden changes such as flight cancellations due to airline-related problems (only if the airline does not offer compensation).
